VAL DI FASSA SNOWSHOEING TRIPS
Hiking lovers have an infinite range of snowshoe itineraries to choose from in Val di Fassa, all set in beautiful landscapes and the peace and quiet of snow covered forests. A snowshoe trip is one of the best ways of experiencing the Trentino winter in contact with nature.
We list a few of the many footpaths taking you to around the Fassa valley on snowshoes:
- Monte Pecol - Giro del Lagusel: one of the most picturesque areas of the Fassa valley with magnificent views of the Marmolada and reachable by car from Hotel Ladina in 20 minutes;
- Rifugio Valacia - via Malga Crocefisso and Baita Monzoni: let yourself be transported by this magical landscape. The limited altitude gain on this walk makes it a very pleasant trip. This trip, too, is just 40 minutes from Hotel Ladina.

There are truly a huge number of winter excursions on the snow to do with both snowshoes and on foot in Val di Fassa and if you want to organise trips in the Canazei, Campitello di Fassa, Pozza di Fassa, Vigo di Fassa and Moena areas you can also use the services of Alpine Guide centres or ski schools.
